No. 1. No. 9101. Built in 1933 with P.J. Krouse &amp; Fort as the architect. This building was Meridian's main post office and a federal courthouse from its construction in 1933 until 2012 when the federal courthouse was closed due to budget cuts. It is located at 9th St. and 21st Ave. The US District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi met there. Postmarked Jul. 10, 1945 with a one cent stamp. Message on back: Hello Mrs. Lewis.
