Description

Post Office and Custom House, St. Augustine, Fla - 35, No 21160. On the Plaze de la Constitcion, in the centger of the city, beside the Cathedral with its quaint Moorish belfry, stands the old Governor's Palace, now used as a post office and public library. The square is a beautiful example of the old Spanish architecture, the material is coquina, a curious shelly conglomerate of coral origin. Miss Bess Cargill 717 Kirleys Place, Shrewport La. We are now in the oldest city in the USA. Came here from Jacksonville 40 miles by car to leave tonight for Atlanta Ga, this last stop on our way home.
