Description

US Post Office and Court House, Americus, GA. No. A-4. No. 1B266-N. Genuine Curteich post card. Located at 119 South Lee Street it was built in 1910. The building was used by the US District Court for the Middle District of Georgia beginning in 1926. Today it is used as a municipal building for the city. It was placed on the Register of National Historic Places on Jan. 1, 1976 as part of the Americus Historic District.
