Description

Post Office, Showing the new addition, Meridian, Miss. No. 36627. Sexichrome. Located at the corner of 22nd Ave. and 8th St. The land here was purchased for $6,000. The building was occupied by the post office, United States courts and Weather Bureau. The building was demolished in the 1950s. The US District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi met here until 1933.
