Description

US Post Office and Government Building, Winston-Salem, NC. No. W-48. No. 7A-H3004. C.T. Art Color tone. This federal building house the US Post Office, US Federal Court, US Attorney, FBI, US Marshall, Military enlistments, and the IRS. In 1937 it was expanded again to accommodate the growing city. It functioned in this way until 1992. The building was purchased in 1994 by Gregory Carlyle the founder of the Millennium Group and has been converted into a nationally known special event center.
