Description

U. S. Court House and Post Office, Cookeville, Tenn. No. 67895. The United States Post Office and Court House was constructed in 1916 at the southeast corner of Walnut and Broad Streets. It is a three story building with basement and attic designed in the Italian Renaissance Revival style. The building has a total gross square footage of 24, 874 square feet. Now L. Clure Morton U. S. Post Office and Courthouse serves as Federal courthouse for the Middle District of Tennessee (1916 - present)
