Description

O-118-U.S. Post Office Building, Orlando, Fla., The City Beautiful, Orlando, Florida's City Beautiful, is a prgressive modern healthful resort amid semitropical beauty in the very heart of the Florida Peninsula, and truly represents one of America's loveliest cities. The Southern District of Florida met here until the Middle District was created in 1962 which met here until 1974. The building was modified in the mid-2000s to accomodate the post office and office and retail space. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Orlando purchased the remaining unoccupied space in 2001 for a new Chancery center.
