Description

Post Office, Brunswick, Ga.-6. No. 17533. Confirmed by the Administrative Assistant to the Brunswick City Manager in 2006, this building was both the post office and federal courthouse from 1901. In exchange for a cty lot to build the Frank M. Scarlett Federal Building, it became the Brunswick City Hall in 1962. The FJC included the 1959 Scarlett Building in its list of historic courthouses.
