Description

Post Office and Custom House, Brunswick, Ga., No. A-38797. Confirmed by the Administrative Assistant to the Brunswick City Manager in 2006, this building was both the post office and federal courthouse form 1901. In exchange for a city lot to build the Frank M. Scarlett Federal Building, it became the Brunswick City Hall in 1962. The FJC included the 1959 Scarlett Building in its list of historic courthouses. Mrs. A. V. Dennis, Darien, Ga., I reached Brunswick, and called by Mrs. Floyds and they made me stop by a little time. Yours truly J. G. Dennis
